CURVES FOR THE CURE VI

The men's bracket is completely full at 24 teams.  We have one team on the waiting list, and if there is enough interest we may go to 28 teams.  There are three open spots for the ladies' tournament and one for the seniors.  We will be expanding our playing area to the neighbors lawn to accommodate the increased number of teams.  The tentative plan is to have six fields for the men and three fields for the seniors and ladies.

Curves is pleased to announce that Arcadia, a local band from the Flint Area, will be playing at this year's tournament. They will begin around 6:00 or 7:00 PM when the playing is done. They cover a lot of great tunes from Marley, Sublime, DMB, Jack J, OAR and others. They also have their own CD, which is very good. To hear some Arcadia tunes, check out their My Space page.

A plaque in honor of Janine Stackpoole is now on the Donor Wall at the Cancer Care Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital. The total amount donated to St. Joe's since 2004 is $22,000!
